Petting a dog is one of the most fulfilling feelings in the world. They unconditionally greet you with wagging tails and happy faces, and in the case of mountain dogs, BUCKETS of slobber. You can even tell them your biggest, dirtiest, baddest secrets of all time and they wouldn’t even judge you. When you’ve had the shittiest of shit days at work, they will greet you with panting smiles and remind you what there is to be happy about.
Last week we accidentally got out of the wrong subway exit and came across Earls Court Exhibition Centre where they happen to be doing a dog exhibition, showcasing over 200 breeds and mini shows throughout. Three words - Best. Day. EVER.
My favorites include the most beautiful Shiba Inu IN ZE WORLD, a Newfoundland who I discussed running away with, and a Dachshund named Lola that I swear I was going to just snap on a leash and pretend she was mine the whole time. Obi and Lucky, I miss you :(
